SAP CRM: How to manage queues in Integration Engine

When you are using PI integration within your SAP ECC or SAP CRM environment, you need to setup and configure queues to manage and deliver these messages to the receiver system (SAP).

SXMB_ADMThis can be done in the SXMB_ADM or SXMB_ADMIN (including monitoring) transaction. For monitoring purposes the transaction SXMB_MONI can be used.

Within the Administration part of Integration Engine the Queues can be managed via ‘Manage Queues’. In here, the different ‘XB*’ queues are (De)Registered and Activated. This needs to be setup to before the processing of a message can be successfully completed.

For Asynchronous Messaging there is a naming conventation and prefix for inbound and outbound queues (technical)

Queue Name (maximum 24 characters)

Don’t forget to configure the Sender/Receiver ID for message processing via SXMSIF

When you are experiencing performance issues with the processing of PI messages and you only have few (1 or 2) parallel queues per XB* queue, define more parallel queues by tuning the Integration Engine. This can be done via EO_INBOUND_PARALLEL and EO_INBOUND_PARALLEL_SENDER by changing the current value to 5 or 10 (check screenprint).SXMB_ADM2

Other Tuning possibilities are:

TUNING     ADJUST_CONTENT_ID
TUNING     AFW_MAXREQUESTCONTENTLENGTH
TUNING     B_EO_IN_PARALLEL
TUNING     B_EO_IN_PARALLEL_SENDER
TUNING     B_EO_OUT_PARALLEL

How fast can YOU travel by train to Amsterdam? Great interactive datavisualization!

Due to the good infrastructure in the Netherlands distance become irrelevant.
By train and bus to reach almost any place easily and relatively quickly.
In our busy lives we think nowadays than in time rather than
away. Therefore, the current cards as we know them obsolete.
Thinking in time influences the card and thus the shape of the Netherlands
and is also dependent on the perspective from which we are looking. So will the Netherlands
country from the perspective of Eindhoven are relatively small due to the good
and fast connections to other cities. From a more remote and
small village as Stavoren Netherlands is also a lot bigger. Apart From
the place from where you look, is also the time is very important.

To turn the evening the card because driving less and trains at rush hour
it shrinks again. For a delay on the track the same happens. each change
tion in travel time, time or location is directly reflected in TIME MAPS.
The map of the Netherlands will never be the same.
